Bexhill United make History as our U18’s, led by John Wright and Dale Sweetman take on Maidstone United U18s in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round Game, this is to be played at the home
of our old friends Hailsham Town due to our own ground remaining unavailable until the following week.
This is a big day in the life of Bexhill United FC, being the first dip of our toes in this competition. Our presence is a tribute to everyone working with the youth teams at our club, with some great youth teams coming through let’s hope it is the first of many, and that a lot of the players on show tonight will go on to play for many years at a good level.
Let’s hope for an enjoyable and competitive game Tuesday evening, and we wish our visitors a safe and uneventful trip back to Maidstone after the game.
